Middletown Rotary Club at Work!
Middletown Rotary Club donates food for South Lake County Fire Department Open House. This event always draws and crowd.  It was a fun day. 
Hard at work in Las Varas, Mexico
Middletown Rotary joined Berkeley Rotary on their global project in Chacala, Mexico!  The majority of the work was done to the Las Varas Elementary School.  Middletown has partnered with the Berkeley Rotary Club on projects in the Chacala area for 8 years.  The work is hard but very rewarding. 
Middletown Rotarian Travels 10,000 miles to Keep India Polio Free
“A journey of a lifetime”, says local Rotarian Christina Braden about her recent trip to Agra India to join in the fight to keep India Polio Free.  On January 3rd, Braden of the Rotary Club of Middletown traveled alone from San Francisco to Delhi, India. She joined 59 other Rotary volunteers from 6 other countries to work alongside four Rotary Clubs from India for the 2018 Mega Polio Campaign.

Rotary clubs along the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana, USA, are collecting emergency relief funds to help flood victims of Hurricane Harvey, which slammed into southeast Texas over the weekend.

Brien will be participating in the Marathon Des Sables Peru race on November 26 to raise funds for Polio Plus.  The Rotary Club of Middletown will be selling End Polio Now commemorative t-shirts and collecting donations for Brien's 155 mile 6 stage race.  This is the toughest high endurance running race taking place in the Ica desert.
